Ashes Series Update

Third test of the Ashes series is being played and Australian crickets team is already leading the series 2-0. Australia beat England in first two matches and now England definitely needs to win this third math to keep the 5 match series alive. However given the form of the English team players this seems to be a tough battle to win.

Australia scored 385 runs in first innings and in return England has already lost 4 wickets and still trailing bt 200 runs. My best wishes to the England cricket team, hopefully they can emerge winner in this match and the series as well.

Ashes series will end on Jan 7, 2014 and will be followed by 5 match ODI series and 3 Two matches. I am sure there would be a much better performance from English team in the shorter versions of the game.

Ashes Victory Hangover gone - Can England defend the Ashes?

This is Susan Szepietowski once again welcoming you to this blog. Thanks for giving your time to this blog, I much appreciate your love.

This post regarding The Ashes Series (cricket) that's played among the Australia and England cricket teams. Those who are not much into cricket can search online about the Ashes cricket series or read this post You must be wondering that it was few months back that England won the Ashes series and how come they need to defend the Ashes so quickly. Yes you are right, normally there is a gap of around 18 months between to Ashes tournaments but this time the schedule for Ashes has been revised. Reason for early Ashes series is that Australia is going to host the ICC Cricket World Cup  in summer of 2015.

Now this is a great chance for both teams, Australia can quickly regain the Ashes and England can retain the Ashes for a longer duration. England team is at its peak at this time and Australian team on the other hand is an inexperienced one.
